1st day of pre-k

Today was Claire's first day of her pre-k class.  We've been talking about it a lot...since school got out in June, we have really enjoyed a relaxed schedule....so we felt like we needed to prep her as much as possible.  She was super excited this morning when she work up....mommy & daddy were a great team getting her ready and out the door. 

As we drove there this morning, I asked her how she was feeling....her response: excited about friends, nervous about teacher.  She especially couldn't wait to see her sweet friend, MaryLou...we've been waiting all summer to see her!  She was also excited to see Johnathandavis....I think Claire really thinks that's his name.  Our families are good friends, so of course we encourage them to be best buds...we love that they LOVE each other.

When we got into class, we found Mary Lou, Brandon, Isabella, and several other friends from last year, Sunday School, and Summer Blast.  When it came our turn to meet Mrs. Paula, Claire instantly froze....wow...she really was nervous!

By the end of the day she absolutely LOVED Miss Paula...and can't wait to go back on Thursday!!  So thankful the Lord has given us the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful preschool that is in the same building as my job at the church!!  HE takes such great care of us!
