We boarded the ship and it was instant fun!! We tried to take advantage of all there was to offer. So on Monday we checked out the ship...trying to find all the cool places we wanted to check out. And we found some fun things...which of course just made all of us more excited to be there...the sushi, the theater, the pools, the jacuzzis, the spa, the coffee shop, the fancy dining rooms, the art room, the miniature golf course, the arcade, the comedy club...yep...we were going to have a good time. Of couse, Claire just wanted to always hang out in our cabin. She said, "Can I call this room a hotel?" The girl loves hotels.
Here are a bunch of pics from our fun family adventure...
this girl coulda lived in the room!
super static-y hair the first day...
...so the hairstylist auntie fixed it!!
Piano Bar fun with sisters.
we went to an art auction and actually bought some stuff...look at us...so full of culture!!
fancy dinner night...at the steakhouse...she was exhausted! You can see it in her eyes!
this kid...every morning, "Can we please get room service?!?"
going to Cabo San Lucas...
we found a fun resort to hang out at for the day and attempted to get "tan."
Holly driving the boat...our taxi back to board the ship.
sunset in Cabo
she fell asleep at dinner 3 different nights! Cruises make kids sleepy...YAY!!
Pool Day!!
Every night my FIL would take Claire back to his room and they'd fall asleep...the rest of us would go find fun things to do on the ship, then we'd go get Claire and carry her back to our room. Win/win for everyone!!
Goodbye Carnival Splendor!! You were good to us!! Meanwhile...Steve was working on the production team at the inauguration while we were on vacation!! He was the lighting programmer for 3 of the inaugural balls!! So proud of him!
